Rental Terms - Albitana Rentacar car rental in Cadiz, Chiclana, Conil, and Rota

GENERAL INFORMATION

The present general conditions of the Albitana Rent a Car vehicle reservation service regulate any vehicle reservation made on our web site www.albitana.es and will be considered as an annex to the general conditions that appear in the rental contract. This online reservation request system (whether the reservation is confirmed or not) does not constitute a vehicle rental contract. At the time of rental, when the user picks up the vehicle, he/she will enter into a contract that will be governed by the laws of the country where the vehicle is rented. By clicking on the submit button on our website, the User will only be making a vehicle reservation request, in no case is it a confirmed reservation, and once it is confirmed and the rental contract with the Supplier is concluded, the User is obliged to comply with its terms and conditions. The rates of this service may vary depending on the season and are subject to change without prior notice, respecting only the prices of confirmed reservations. This reservation service will be valid for the specified car groups, and always subject to availability. The opening hours of our offices vary according to the season, being the minimum opening hours: Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 13:00 hours, Saturday from 09:00 to 13:00 hours, Sunday and holidays closed all day. Vehicles can be delivered on holidays or after hours, in any case if your reservation request coincides with our closing times the price of the reservation will have an increase in costs due to these services delivery or return after hours. Please consult with our staff and/or check in your reservation if these costs are already included in the final price. The amount including taxes corresponding to your rental request will be shown to you before you make your reservation. For hygiene and safety reasons, pets can only be taken in our vehicles if they travel in bags, suitcases, or carriers approved for their transport. Upholstery cleaning costs will be applied in case of stains, damage to the upholstery or pet hair in our vehicles. This extraordinary cleaning service will have a cost of not less than 65,00€ VAT included.

General conditions:

-The driver must be 23 years old at the time of rental and must present originals of: D.N.I. or Passport and valid driving license in the European Union with at least one year of antiquity.
-The following are considered valid driving licenses in Spain:
a) Those issued in accordance with the Spanish legislation in force;
b) Those issued by the member states of the European Union in accordance with Community regulations;
c) Those issued by other countries that were recognized as valid for the purpose of allowing driving in Spain according to the regulations of the Spanish General Directorate of Traffic.
d) Valid international license together with the valid national license of the corresponding country for which it is required for the purpose of allowing driving in Spain according to the regulations of the Spanish General Directorate of Traffic.

The lessee shall be personally and jointly and severally liable for the persons driving the vehicle during the lease.

-A physical credit card (not virtual) Visa or MasterCard is required as a guarantee. In this credit card will be charged at the beginning of the rental all the amounts of: deposits, deposits, guarantees, franchises (see section corresponding to franchise) and calculation of the costs corresponding to your reservation, although if you wish, it is possible to make the payment by debit card at the end of your rental period by reimbursing your credit card the amount charged at the beginning of the contract. The renter of the vehicle must be the holder of the credit card in any case. Debit cards, cash or any bank card other than those listed above will not be accepted as a guarantee for the rental.

-The vehicles shown are for information purposes only, and can be changed for any other vehicle that meets the characteristics of the reserved group. Albitana Rent a Car does not guarantee make, model or motorization of the vehicles.

-The duration of the rental will be as agreed in the reservation, and will be billed based on periods of 24 hours, counted from the start time indicated in your reservation. There is a courtesy period of 30 minutes, after which an additional day of rental will be billed based on the general price in force. Under no circumstances can the amount paid at the beginning of the rental as a deposit be used to extend the rental contract.

-Child passengers with a height of 135 cm or less must always use an approved restraint system adapted to their height and weight and always in the rear seats. The lessee must provide child restraint devices/systems. The renter must also check the adequacy, use and placement of the child restraint systems in the vehicle. Albitana Rent a Car does not assume responsibility for the lack of use, installation, checking, incorrect use or any possible manufacturing defect of the mentioned mandatory retention device, as these aspects are the sole responsibility of the renter. If you need a child restraint system, you can indicate it at the moment of making your reservation in the OPTIONS screen.

-Our vehicles can only be driven within the Spanish territory of the Iberian Peninsula, being expressly forbidden to be driven outside this territory.

-If the vehicle receives a fine during the period of validity of the contract, the contract holder will be responsible for the amount of the fine. The lessee authorizes the charge in his credit card of the amounts of any traffic sanction committed during the rental period, also Albitana Rent a Car will be able to pass on the charges and costs derived from the management of each one of the fines, notifications and/or sanctions received.

- If the client decides to terminate the rental prior to the date indicated in the rental reservation, he/she will not be entitled to a refund of the amount corresponding to the days of non-use of the vehicle.

-The maximum duration of each rental contract is 28 days, so in case your reservation is longer than 28 days you will have to go to one of the Albitana Rent a Car offices to renew the contract. We recommend you to make as many reservations as necessary to cover the rental period since extensions without a confirmed reservation are subject to the availability of the vehicle.

Your reservation:

At the time of the vehicle request, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your request. Once our staff has checked the availability of the requested vehicle and after receiving confirmation of payment we will send you a new email confirming your request. Please check that there are no errors when entering your email address. Your reservation will not be considered valid until you receive our confirmation after verifying the payment of your request.

Cancellations of reservations made more than 48 hours prior to the start of the reservation will be free of charge. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start of the reservation will be subject to a penalty charge corresponding to the rate of 1 day's rental at the general rate in force for the reserved vehicle.

Albitana rent a car reserves the right to cancel your reservation if the vehicle has not been picked up two hours after the time indicated in the reservation.

Services Included

Our rate with mileage limited to 150 kms/day includes:

- Partial coverage for damage to the vehicle in case of theft or accident (CDW with deductible according to the group booked). The coverage for damage to the vehicle (CDW) does not include in any case damage to tires, rims, vehicle interiors, exterior rear-view mirrors, windows, vehicle underbody, punctures, broken tires, or damage to the clutch. It also does not include costs for battery recharging, loss of keys, towing by crane or cab after an accident, deposit for replacement vehicle or compensation for days of paralysis of the car until its repair, damages or cleaning of upholstery.
- Occupant's insurance in case of accident
- Liability insurance
- Limited mileage 150 kms/day. Price extra kms: Groups A, B, C, D, D1 : 0,18 €/km, Groups E, E1 H : 0,30 €/km, Groups F, F1, G, G1, : 0,45 €/km
- An additional driver. The additional driver must fulfill the requirements of age and seniority in the driving license requested by Albitana Rent a Car.
- 24-hour roadside assistance
- V.A.T. 21%.

Our "Scooter 125 cc" rate includes:

- Partial coverage of damages to the vehicle in case of theft or accident (CDW) with an excess of 1000,00€. The coverage of damages to Scooter 125 cc does not include in any case: loss of helmet, lock, those derived from not respecting the maximum number of passengers authorized in the rented vehicle, damage to tires, rims, as well as damage or loss of keys. You can contract a coverage to reduce the amount of the excess up to 300,00€.

Our unlimited mileage rates - Albitana on line include:

Partial coverage for damage to the vehicle in case of theft or accident (CDW with excess according to vehicle group). The partial coverage of damage to the vehicle (CDW) does not include in any case damage to tires, rims, vehicle interiors, exterior rear-view mirrors, windows, vehicle underbody, punctures, tire blowouts, or damage to the clutch. It also does not include costs for battery recharging, loss of keys, towing by crane or cab after an accident, deposit for replacement vehicle or compensation for days of paralysis of the car until its repair, damages or cleaning of upholstery.

- An additional driver. The additional driver must fulfill the requirements of age and seniority in the driving license requested by Albitana Rent a Car.

Commercial vehicle/cargo 350 kms" rates DO NOT INCLUDE:

- Damage caused to the vehicle due to misuse, negligence, or due to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Damage to: interiors including cargo area panels, underbody, vehicle roof and upholstery cleaning
- Parking charges, fines, tolls, or expenses derived from the removal of the vehicle by tow trucks.
- Fuel and refueling charges - Extra kilometers not included in the rate. Extra kilometers for commercial vehicles: 0.45 €/km.
- Optional extras (GPS, baby seats, booster seats)
- Supplement for delivery and/or pick-up outside our office hours (on request and upon confirmation, minimum cost 50.00 €)
- Supplement for delivery or pick up of the vehicle in places other than the Albitana Rent a Car offices, within the city limits (on request and upon confirmation, minimum cost 30,00 € maximum 50,00 €)
- Damage deductible according to group booked

Franchise:

The excess or deductible is the renter's liability for damages suffered by the vehicle during the rental period. Our rates include coverages that limit the client's liability for damages suffered by the vehicle during the rental period up to an amount that varies according to the group of vehicle rented. Depending on the contracted group, the excess is as follows: Groups 0, 01: 1000,00€ - Groups A, B, B1, C, C1, C1, D, D1, S: 1.600,00€ - Groups E, E1, H, J: 1.800,00€ - Groups F, F1, G, G1, V: 2.000,00€ The amount corresponding to the franchise will be charged to your Visa or MasterCard credit card at the moment of formalizing the rental contract. Albitana rent a car offers the possibility of contracting coverage to eliminate or reduce the amount of the excess during the reservation process in the OPTIONS section.

Reservation of industrial vehicles:

Our "INDUSTRIAL 350 kms" rate includes:

Partial coverage for damage to the vehicle in case of theft or accident (CDW with an excess of €1500.00). The vehicle damage coverage (CDW) does not include in any case damage to tires, rims, vehicle interiors, exterior rear-view mirrors, windows, vehicle underbody, punctures, tire blowouts, or damage to the clutch. It also does not include costs for battery recharging, loss of keys, towing by crane or cab after accident, deposit for replacement vehicle or compensation for days of paralysis of the car until its repair, damage or cleaning of upholstery. It is full financial responsibility of the customer the damage caused to the underside of the vehicle, roof, damage caused by not respecting the speed limits established on the road, exceeding the permitted load limits, for not respecting or disregarding the maximum height allowed on roads, streets, garages or the height of the rented vehicle.

Fuel policy:

Albitana Rent a Car does not include in its rates the fuel of the rental vehicle. Albitana Rent a Car will charge in your credit card the estimated amount of fuel that the vehicle has at the beginning of the rental, this amount will be fully reimbursed if at the end of the contract it is returned with the same level of fuel. If it is not returned with the same level of fuel, the fuel consumed plus a refueling service charge will be charged.
Upon express request by the client when making the reservation, Albitana Rent a Car offers the possibility of hiring a Full/Empty fuel service. In this case the client will pay the amount of the fuel tank at the beginning of the rental and return it without refueling at the end of the contract.
