How do I know if my reservation is confirmed?
You request a reservation. Our reservations department will respond to your request as soon as possible via email once it has been confirmed.

What are the office opening hours?
Office hours vary by city and season. Please check with our offices, where they will inform you of current hours.

What is the minimum rental period for a vehicle?
The minimum rental period is 24 hours (1 day).

Can I rent a vehicle outside of office hours?
You can request a vehicle during the hours offered on our website. The applicable charges applied if our office is closed will be added directly to your request quote. If you would like to be served at a different time, please email rentacar@albitana.es, and we will inform you about costs and availability.

How many kilometers are included in my reservation?
Each selected rate offers different mileage options. For LIMITED mileage rates, the cost corresponding to the excess mileage will apply. Groups A, B, C, D, D1: €0.18/extra km; Groups E, E1, H, J: €0.30/extra km; Groups F, F1, G, G1: €0.45/extra km. Extra km price for commercial vehicles: €0.45/km.

What age requirements apply when renting a car, as well as minimum driver's license age?
Albitana rent a car requires drivers of our vehicles to be at least 23 years old and have held their driver's license for at least one year. The driver's license must be valid for driving in the European Union.

Do I need a credit card to rent a car?
Yes. Albitana rent a car requires a physical VISA or MASTERCARD credit card as a guarantee. We do not accept debit cards, virtual cards, wallet cards, or any other type of bank card.

Can I rent a specific vehicle model?
No, we cannot guarantee a vehicle make, model, color, or engine. Only the vehicle group that meets the specifications you selected when making your reservation request is confirmed. If the confirmed vehicle group is not available, Albitana Rent a Car will provide a vehicle in a higher group at no extra cost.

What documents do I need to pick up the vehicle?
At the time of rental, we will need the following original and valid documents: National Identity Document (DNI) or passport, a driver's license valid within the European Union for at least 12 months, and a VISA or MASTERCARD credit card in the name of the rental contract holder. Please bring all of these documents with you when picking up the vehicle to ensure smooth processing. If any of these documents are not presented, the vehicle rental contract will not be formalized.

Is it possible to cross Spanish borders during the rental period?
Albitana Rent a Car only authorizes the use of its vehicles within the mainland of the Kingdom of Spain. Use of the vehicle in any other area is expressly prohibited. Penalties apply for failure to comply with this rule. Please consult the terms and conditions when signing the rental contract.

When do I pay for my rental car?
Payment of the total rental amount, as well as any excess deposit, fuel costs, etc., must be made by VISA or MASTERCARD credit card at the time of signing the rental contract.

Can I return the vehicle outside of opening hours?
Vehicle returns are normally made during office opening hours. If you need to return a rental vehicle at a different time than the one indicated in your request, please let us know when signing the contract. Our staff will inform you about the availability and costs of the service. Our office hours and opening days vary depending on the season. You can check our hours by calling 956 492 114 or by emailing rentacar@albitana.es. Our offices are closed on Saturday afternoons, Sundays, or holidays.

Who can I contact if I have any problems with the vehicle?
Our vehicles offer roadside assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You will be provided with the roadside assistance telephone number when signing your contract, although you can also contact our offices during opening hours if you need additional assistance.

Will my personal data be treated confidentially?
We place the highest value on the confidentiality of your personal data. We care about you. We naturally adhere to legal regulations and undergo periodic data protection audits. We consider it extremely important that you always know what data we store and how we use it. Your personal data will not be sold or transferred to third parties outside of our control.

Who is authorized to drive the vehicle?
The only people authorized by Albitana Rent a Car to drive the vehicle are those listed as the main or additional driver on the rental agreement.

Can I return the vehicle to a different location than the pick-up location?
Yes, it is possible. You can select a different return location when making your request. If you have not indicated this in your reservation, you will need to inform the office and check the costs of this supplement and availability.

What type of insurance is included in the rental price?
The rental rates include the Compulsory Automobile Insurance and the Supplementary Civil Liability Insurance for damages to third parties arising from the use and use of the vehicle.
Own damage to the vehicle (CDW) is also covered with a deductible based on the vehicle group requested, and is caused by an accident, vehicle theft, or accidental fire in all cases. Our CDW insurance does not cover, among other things, damage to the vehicle's windows, tires, hubcaps, or rims. There is optional deductible waiver coverage that you can purchase when placing your order; the daily amount depends on the vehicle group selected. Purchasing this coverage on our website includes deductible waiver coverage for the wheels and windows of the rented vehicle.

Do I have to pay anything at the time of booking?
Yes. The request will not be confirmed until payment for your request has been confirmed.

What coverage is not covered even when purchasing deductible waiver coverage?
Among other things, these costs are not included: cleaning, misuse, or damage to the vehicle's interior, interior rearview mirrors, underbody, clutch, crankcase, catalytic converter, lost or broken keys, vehicle refueling errors, intentional glass breakage, replacement vehicle deposit, or compensation for days the vehicle is downtime until repair.

How can I modify or cancel my reservations?
You can send an email requesting cancellation of your reservation to the same email address from which your reservation confirmation was sent. No cancellation fees apply when the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the start date of your reservation. If the cancellation is communicated within 48 hours of the start date of your reservation, a penalty equal to the rate for a single day's rental of the reserved vehicle will apply. No refunds will be issued if the cancellation is communicated after the reservation start time or if the customer does not meet the rental contract requirements, including credit card requirements, minimum age, driver's license requirements, etc. You can also send us your modification request to rentacar@albitana.es, and we will respond as soon as possible, indicating any changes to the final price.

Is there a cancellation fee for my reservations?
No cancellation fees apply when you communicate at least 48 hours before the start date of your reservation. If the cancellation is communicated within 48 hours of the start date of your reservation, a penalty equal to the rate of a single day's rental of the reserved vehicle will apply. No refunds will be issued if the cancellation is communicated after the reservation start time or if the customer does not meet the requirements requested to formalize the rental contract, including credit card requirements, minimum age, driver's license age, etc.

Is it necessary to present the reservation voucher to pick up the vehicle?
It is not required, although it is convenient; it helps us verify the reservation details with our information.

Who will install the accessories I reserve as extras?
Once the accessories have been collected from our office, it is the customer's responsibility to properly install them in the vehicle. In the event of incorrect installation, we are not responsible for any damages caused.

I have lost my license or processed its renewal. Can I rent a car?
If you do not present a simple note from the Directorate General of Traffic showing the issue and expiration dates, we are very sorry to say NO. Albitana rent a car has no means of verifying the validity of your license.

Can I rent a vehicle if I don't have a driver's license?
NO. It is a fundamental requirement along with an ID or proof of identity concession and credit card.

What should I do if my vehicle breaks down?
In the event of a breakdown or any other type of problem during your vehicle rental, you can call the roadside assistance service provided at the time of rental, which is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Is there any refund if I return my vehicle before the end date of my contract?
No. If you return your vehicle before the end date stated in your rental contract, no refund will be issued for unused days.

Where should I return the vehicle?
When you pick up the rental vehicle at our office, be sure to ask our staff the exact location where you should return the vehicle on the last day of the rental. If, at the time of return, the customer returns the vehicle at a different location than the one agreed upon, the customer will be responsible for all additional charges resulting from the incorrect return until the vehicle is recovered. Albitana Rent a Car is not responsible under any circumstances for any costs incurred for parking, fines, towing, etc., until the vehicle is properly received by our staff.

Is fuel included in the rental or do I have to pay for it?
The fuel consumed is the customer's responsibility. At the time of rental, we will charge the estimated amount for the vehicle's fuel. Once the rental is completed, the vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level, and the corresponding amount will be refunded to your credit card.

Have I made my reservation request and haven't received a response?
If after 48 hours you have made your request and haven't received a response, it may not have been confirmed. However, you can contact us in case there was a problem receiving or sending the response at rentacar@albitana.es.

How can I request an invoice for my rental?
You can request the invoice for the rental contract by sending an email to any of our offices. In that same email, you must include at least the contract number and the correct information for issuing and sending the invoice.
